About 3 km from Pithoragarh, the ancient caves of Kapileshwar Mahadev are located amidst the rolling green hills. The cave temple is completely dedicated to Lord Shiva and hundreds of people come to visit the temple to offer their prayers every year. The temple is also known for exotic views of the Himalayas and teh Soar Valley.
